Cacao holds a Crystalline Structure
Cacao holds a crystalline structure. A structure that is both unyielding and allowing. The tone she sets is the boundary for what she welcomes in. Just as is the power of our own intention.
When the space has been cleared, what do you choose to fill it with?
April twenty-twenty-five was a season of immense clearing and purging for me. At the turn of my winter birthday, I received so many messages around flowers and have since been working so intimately with flower essences. Impactful teachers for me this year. I am studying all these different intricacies to the essence of bloom.
For a couple years after college, I worked along side botanists. First it was my friend Owen who had a love for orchids like I had never known. He always talked about their symmetry and shrieked whenever he would see one in sight. Crawling down into the wet moss of Southeast Alaska, I saw him talk to these little orchids as though they were treasures amongst us. He was from Wisconsin, and his exuberance was purely from abundance. This land was so different to what he knew back home, and he was opening his arms (his curiosity, knowledge and senses) to it.
Next, it was Jenny, Savannah, Danelle and all the other female botanists of Southern Idaho. Down on our hands and knees, we would stop the truck when a unique plant was identified in a passing ditch. Similarly, there was always an excited shriek. This wave of floral enthusiasm only told me one thing: flowers are more than just a pretty thing. They tell us stories of existence. Medicine is a flowing nature of their entire being. And they are teachers to an ecosystem.
In the world of science, the way of getting to know these flowers was through biological and systematic observation, identifying and studying.
I never found a spark that motivated me to learn this language because I yearned to meditate amongst the flowers and speak to them telepathically. I always heard so much in nature and this was no different. Flowers inspired me simply by being as they are. Which, now I am seeing is also another way to learn more about them.
Two languages inside of one.
As I have been using flower essences for months now -- I am getting this chance to meditate with a growing range of flowers. The flowers I use specifically are from Lotus Wei. Their healing space and production space is called the Self-Arising Healing Center is located in my city. I have been (shockingly) very drawn to the weekly chocolate meditations taught by Lisa Reinhardt.
In my most recent class, this is where I heard this statement that Cacao holds a crystalline structure. I am overjoyed with no surprise whatsoever. Because of course, she does.
The combination of Kakao with Lotus Wei is beyond worlds. Two creative vessels that have so much reverence with the land is immeasurably felt. And, now with Lemon Rose Gatherings, I am getting a taste of what this harmonic creation is truly like.
It's just effortless what service is and what it wants, especially when Mother Earth is a lead in the communication.
Effortless is a funny word, though. I am not at all saying it does not require work. Energetic alignment and listening to what the creation wants and where it wants me to go are much easier said than done. They are also abstract ideas. I used to just sum it up as “being in flow” but in truth the birthing experience is the more realistic interpretation. At times, I often feel like I am simply trying my best to hold on.
Oh, the power of love! Truly -- there is so much I want to say about that.
