Hello friend,
Thank you for being here. I wanted to speak on something that you probably already know and may not even need to be explained… but since Oracle Delivery first started, it has evolved and what I am writing has changed. Maybe you have noticed it, maybe you have not. Either way, I hope you have enjoyed being here and please, stay awhile.
Living on the road has humbled me. I stepped through the portal and became a fool to a new life. One that I am still not quite sure where it is headed or what is to come. And with that, I have been wallowing in what is the right or wrong thing to portray through my words. I want to say so much and also am processing a lot, so in short, I have just lifted the pressure of production when it comes to what I write.
Since, I have been hearing life’s cues to live my own words.
“You are living the book that you are writing” were the words my grandmother told me.
And she could not be more right. Just last winter, I had written a passage on sensual creativity for a book that was recently published!
Sensual creativity is channeling, I had said. It is when you contain the openness and trust to create with whatever you receive in life. Timeless, powerful creations will be made. Creations that will sing your authentic expression and encourage the embodiment of your heART.
Now, zoom to the current space that I am in. This is the first time I am living in an Airstream and traveling with my family in tow. First time, I am experiencing life without a horizon and completely redefining my rootedness and home. First time I am witnessing how my own intuitive decisions and life callings are interweaving with my daughter and husband’s own learnings and unraveling messiness.
I am sure my highest self is laughing because this show I have been putting on for her has been one of comic relief and dramatic hard-headedness.
It be like that sometimes. If you know, you know.
So, from here, I wanted to provide you with a little writing update:
First things first, I am still working on/with my forth-coming book, The Golden Mirror. She is doing great and is already supported by the Unbound Press. The Golden Mirror is a fictitious story about a woman named Mohali -who fun fact is someone I first encountered during a meditation while I was pregnant. Mohali will be going on a journey of embodiment and the overall translation of her journey will carry a familiar tone as the one Santiago of The Alchemist takes. HOW this story is going to come together is still a huge unknown, largely because I am following my own guidance to sensually create. I am trusting in what is present, honoring my body, and translating the layers simultaneously going on across my very different worlds: mother, wife, traveler, mystic, and author. I can assure you the story’s felt-sense is here. But, I would be lying if I did not say the creativity has been quite a transformative process.
Secondly, for Oracle Delivery, I have been inspired to write about the unique and not-always-seen moments I have experienced while traveling. Such as how it has felt living in different pockets of the same forest or what it is like not having a mailing address. Playing with colors and words on Canva has also been fun, too. And, I am also curious to write from an imaginative lens as opposed to personal experiencesas well. If you ever have anything in particular you are would like me to write about, I am always open to prompts or suggestions.
Yesterday, I was standing in the forest completely taken by the soft yet brightness of all the green. It expelled this feeling of a radiant and warming heart. That was when the name Oracle Delivery played in my head. And this was reassuring to recognize because even if I do not know exactly how I am building it … it still mirrors the frequency of what I know I feel.
Creativity… it is courageous work!
